It's the closest thing I have to a 'pride' icon so it seemed fitting? I went on a bit of an icon-adding spree today.
I hate pop culture references, because they'll be out of date, I'm sure, once 2022 comes round. But what can I do... Noooo, it's good! I like to think that your characters are all either (i) hipsters or (ii) 'vintage' fans. But no, it's why I jump between pop culture references and fake ones (eg. 8th Harry Potter book) in my stories. I figure they're going to age anyway, why worry about it.
Yes - and oh, poor George indeed. Growing up ain't going to be easy. He won't recognise himself by the end of the story... *clutches* Oh no you're going to break another one?
